The Laney boys made the short trip over to Camp Skyline for the Laney Dance! This summer we have had the Laney dance every session and it has gotten more and more fun every time. Many campers have siblings that attend Camp Laney, or even friends from school that they get to see! And there are always friendships created. The girls get so excited and nervous for the boys to come, its adorable!
Before the Laney Dance we have a very important performace from the mini campers! They show us their dance they have been learning in their dance class. The mini campers are so full of personality and they are the most fun to be around! This session they have been coming up with their own names and they named me Ariel, it was quite the honor! We will be so sad to see them go tomorrow! I know they have had the most fun but they will be happy to see you!
We had another rainy start to the day but at least it has been cool and breezy! With rain comes a high river, which means we can blob and slide! All of waterfront was opened today and the kids were having a blast! The mini’s got to paint the horses for their final trip to the barn, thats always one of my favorite activities! Cooking class made their infamous sliders! They smelled SO good so I know they tasted so much better!
Now to end the blog with some exciting news… the horseshoe was found! By the MOUNTIES!!! Now for the Mounties to rehide it and see if it can be found again before the end of the session!
