Hello hello hello!!! Another day of fun has come to an end up here on the mountain! We had a little bit of rain but otherwise a very beautiful day! It was sunny with a light breeze and a dash of humidity, so be on the lookout for crazy camp hair!
With only two days of activities, our campers are getting ready for the grand champion! The Horseshow, which qualifies campers to be in the Grand Champion is coming up and our horseback girls are busy practicing. They have their game faces on!
The riflery and archery contests are coming up as well. A couple campers from each club will be asked to participate for club points. Winners are announced on packing day.
We had a couple off-campus trips today! CSR went caving! They crawled through tiny squeezes and tunnels and to the center where they hung out and ate lunch underground! How cool!
Advanced mountain biking went right over the Georgia line to ride some mountain biking trails! It was a wet and slippery ride but they are pros by now!
Tonight was SPEED CHALLENGE! One of the more intense club competitions. We had some rain during dinner so we had it in the gym to stay dry. Speed challenge is pretty much a bunch of relay races back to back. The clubs are divided by age groups and they complete task after task to see who gets done first! Anyone who isn’t playing at that time is cheering loud for their club! It is fast and loud!
And of course with every club competition, someone took home some points!
RANGERS FIRST, MOUNTIES SECOND, TROOPERS THIRD!!!
