Day 7 - Movie Night!
Hi everyone! It’s Alexis bringing y’all the blog today! We’ve had a great day at camp and I can’t wait to share all the fun with y’all! We started the day off the same as usual, with morning watch and breakfast! After this, we had to say goodbye to our mini C campers! We are so sad to see them go, but we look foward to seeing them next summer! They were full of laughter and energy all week and we will miss them so much!
We had a fun day of activities today! In mountain biking they went to the Laney waterfront and back! It was a such a nice day up on the mountain, so I’m sure it was a peaceful ride for them! Over at archery, they were shooting arrows left and right! They are so quick with it that I almost miss the picture! We sure do have some talented girls here at camp, because I saw two get get bulls-eyes one after the other! Cooking was making grilled cheese roll ups and puppy chow… it smelled soooo yummy in Sophie’s Place! Horseback is still going strong and learning new things and they never fail to impress us! I admire their dedication to learn more and more each day! We have some rock climbing PROS in tower! The way that they climb to the top so effortlessly amazes me! In the LT class, they were doing the giant slingshot! It’s always so fun to watch them do it! In CSR today, they rapelled off the bridge into the river! They have learned so much the past 6 days and I know they excited for upcoming CSR activities! Speaking of the river… the waterfall started to flow today! The girls in fun swim were blobbing away with the waterfall flowing in front of them so I had to snap a picture of it!
Tonight’s activity was Movie Night! During Beli Deli Discussions today, the question we asked was “What movie are you wanting to watch tonight?”. We got soo many different answers! Some said Teen Beach, The Parent Trap, Despicable Me, Shrek… the list could go on and on! You’ll have to check out our TikTok to see all the answers! ;) The girls got their pj’s on and grabbed their popcorn and drink and waited to find out what it was going to be! And the movie was… drum roll pleaseee… Hannah Montana: The Movie!!! I know the girls were thrilled by how loud their screams were when they figured it out!
