I’m the Camp Mom, Mrs. Frances, and I have so much enjoyed your girls this summer. As my 11th summer in this role, I have seen many of your children grow up and become amazing young ladies. The age-outs always impress me with their desire to learn how to be a leader. We really hope that one day they will be counselors. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach Bible Study to the lodge-age campers and I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with their ability to pray AND in front of their peers. That’s tough at any age. Seeing all age campers at Beli Deli using their manners of please and thank you is such a joy. Parents and Grandparents you should be proud!

Today was the last day of activities; full of sun and a little rain. It was also the horse show. I’ve seen several colorful ribbons proudly displayed around camp. And to top the day off we ended with Showtime and a Musical Theater production written by one of our own counselors. Make sure to check out all the awesome pics!

Tomorrow will be Awards Day and I have the opportunity to give out patches to any young lady that has contributed monetarily to the Skyline Foundation. The Skyline Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that provides scholarships for girls to come to camp. There is a box to check on your camper Remittance Form to give any leftover spending money to the scholarship fund. Another opportunity to get a patch is to give to the foundation when you pick up your camper on closing day. We will have several alumnae at the front office to assist you with this and are happy to tell you more about the Skyline Foundation. We also sell items for the foundation in the T-shirt Corral such as Skyline Quilts, Christmas Balls, and Snuggies. All the proceeds go to the foundation.

We have enjoyed each day with your girls and hope to see you all again next year!
