To all our Skyline cuties,
We miss you so much here on the mountain. We cannot wait to have you back for #2025kyline!
Happy Thanksgiving-eve! As we look at the holidays, this week Thanksgiving - I cannot help but reflect on our Thankful For series. We are SO thankful for each of you – campers, parents, alumni, counselors alike. We hope you find your Thanksgiving days to be filled with love, rest, good food, and time with loved ones. We are wishing you all a safe & Happy Thanksgiving!
We also would love to share the next month with your family, so please, send us a copy of your family Christmas card to 4888 Alabama Hwy 117, PO BOX 287, Mentone AL 35984… we hope to fill the new office with all our campers and their families. And, we’ll be sharing them on our socials. If you have not already, follow us on Facebook: Camp Skyline Ranch, Instagram @campskyline , and Tik Tok @campskylineranch to stay in the loop this year. You don’t want to miss our giveaways, annoucements, and challenges to stay involved with Camp Skyline this year!
Now, we are so looking forward to receiving and sharing your Christmas cards this year. We are also each looking forward to celebrating Christmas, the birth of Jesus, and hope to honor his birth and share His word and His love for us this year.
For unto us a child was born… Matthew 1:20-23 - A Child of the Holy Spirit ’Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.’ All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’). - Matthew: 1:20-23 (NIV)
We are all so very thankful for you all, the birth of Jesus, and the truth of God’s word that ‘is a lamp to our feet and light to our path’ (Psalm 119:105). As we look to time with family, travelling, a break from school and work, we hope to truly reflect on the reason for the season. We hope you get time to do the same with your family and friends!
Thankful,
Annie Lueck
