Introducing Rachel Collins

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO…RACHEL AND HER DOG LUNA!

Rachel grew up in Mentone and recently graduated from JSU with a degree in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Advertising.

She has a wonderful, big family and many sweet, fun friends. Rachel seems to never meet a stranger!

Rachel is our new Assistant Director and the media manager. Last year she was part of our 2023 Summer Staff and brought our social media to a new level so we welcome her to our Skyline Family. She will be doing a lot of posts on Facebook, Instagram, and TicToK. Make sure you look at each of those links periodically for updates and funnies!

I asked Rachel a few questions to get to know her better so read more about her below:

What are your favorite books to read?

I like reading all kinds of books! I always return to Twilight and The Hunger Games as my classic comfort series.

What kind of music do you like?

I love all music! My top 5 artists for 2023 were Noah Kahan, Taylor Swift, Sleeping At Last, Hozier, and Zach Bryan!

What gets you through a rough day?

Some things that get me through a rough day are Mexican food, a nap, and a good book. But I love those on a good day too!

Why are you excited to be working full-time at Skyline?

I’m excited to be working at camp because my favorite part of college was being able to mentor girls and young women through the organizations I participated in, and now get to do that again but at the happiest place on earth! I also love having a job where every day is different and so fun!
