It’s day six already??? Time flies! We are having so much fun here at Camp Skyline Ranch! Today was the last day of activities for our mini campers and they have had a blast. I got to hangout with them for a little while today while they played water balloon tennis and there wasn’t a dry camper, counselor, or staff member in sight! But even soaking wet they were masters at archery. Parents, don’t be alarmed if your mini camper asks for a bow and arrow for Christmas. Many of them were sharing their plans to practice and join the 30’s club next year! At Camp Skyline if you make 3 bulls-eye’s then you get to join the 30’s club and sign the archery shed’s door! They can’t wait to come back next summer and we can’t wait to have them!
If you are picking up your mini camper tomorrow then you are going to want to get to camp between 9 AM and 10 AM to load up your camper and her things. Don’t forget to grab any of her fun art and crafts she has made! The T-Shirt Corral will also be open for you and your camper to pick out some goodies!
Our older campers have another full week of fun ahead of them! Everyone is starting to really get the hang of their activities! Our ropes classes have started to get so fast moving through the course. From a distance they look like monkeys jumping from skill to skill. Our circus class continues to impress me daily with their tricks and flips. Our painting class has moved up to painting our new Book Nooks that are around campus! And our outdoor adventure class went fishing with their HOMEMADE fishing poles! We have so many talented campers here with a wide range of interests!
Tonight was Song Night at Camp Skyline Ranch! The night started with a dance from our mini campers! They worked hard all week and did wonderfully, we will miss them. We then had a cheer off between each club and their age groups, followed by a cabin song performance, and then a cabin dance off! All these competitions counted for club points and added up to give us our overall winners for the Song Night Club Competition!
Drum roll please…
Troopers First! Rangers Second! Mounties Third!
