Mother Daughter Weekend

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather for our Spring Mother Daughter. The rhododendron’s were in full bloom and camp was filled with moms and daughters from all over. This weekend started a little chilly with a Friday check in. After check in we welcomed everyone on the gym steps and then showed everyone around camp for a quick tour before dashing off to the dining hall for dinner. After dinner we had a fun night with trivia in the gym before ending the night with s’mores.

Saturday we woke up to morning watch and then had a day full of activities. Moms and daughters were canoeing, making crafts, conquering their fears on high ropes and enjoying a trail ride at the barn. After dinner we had a cabin battle of speed challenge where each cabin competed against each other in consecutive relay races.

On Sunday we started the morning with delicious camp donuts, a tradition that we have here at camp and then wrapped up our last activities before everyone packed up to head home.

We love having this weekend at camp and getting to connect with current campers, new campers and future campers!
