On the Road Again
Sally and I have been on the road to some wonderful cities recruiting campers, interviewing counselors, and enjoying time with friends along the way.
Our first stop was in Mobile, AL where we visited with alumnae and current camper families. Thank you to alum Ashleigh Valluzzo for hosting us at her restaurant, Moe’s Bar B Que.
The next morning we spent some coffee time with several moms in Daphne, AL. We even had alumna and current camper parent, Dorothy Laymon, offer to be a Skyline Hero. Thanks, Dorothy!
Before heading to the Fairhope Show, where we spent time with alumna Claire Macina and her daughter Sarah Nell, Sally and I had the chance to go to Lake Martin and have quality time with Cerrell, our Camp Nurse. It’s always fun to slow down, catch up with friends and enjoy sunsets.
We ended our trip in Tampa, FL where we met several new friends at the home of a new camp family, The Stanleys. Such a treat to be in a beautiful city and eat a fabulous Cuban sandwich! Our road trip is complete!
