Throwback Thursday

One of our favorite past times here at Camp Skyline is breaking out the old photo albums! Our 75th summer is this coming year and to prepare we’ve been reminiscing on summers past. We love going through the photos, seeing familiar faces, laughing at the silly ones, and smiling over the sweet times. In honor of ‘Throwback Thursday’ we’re posting pictures from previous summers every Thursday. This Thursday we posted a picture from the summer of 2001 featuring the club leaders at Banquet! Banquet is a time honored tradition here at Skyline and happens on the last night of every session. One special part of Banquet is when the three Club Captains are gifted a special flag signed by the members of their club. The flag is viewed as a gift of distinction and cherished by the captains.

So, we weren’t surprised to find out that one of our Alumnae from the Banquet picture still has her Ranger flag today! We love hearing from Alumnae and seeing the camp mementos they’ve kept over the years.
