Takeover Tuesday with Kay!

On this Takeover Tuesday Kay, a previous camper and future counselor, took over our Instagram! This coming summer will be Kay’s 11th on the mountain. She has been a camper for the past 10 summers and next summer will be her first on our summer staff. Kay is currently a senior at Montgomery Academy. Keep reading to find out what some of her favorite things are at Camp Skyline!

What’s your favorite activity and why? ROPES ROPES ROPES. I never get tired of doing all of the different courses at Ropes, and I never get tired of Pickle, our Ropes Course Director, either!!!

If you had to choose one camp song to sing for the rest of your life what would it be? Backporch or Joy to Riverside

What is one of your favorite camp memories? Every year after Banquet on the last night of camp. There’s always so much laughter even though the tears come the next morning :(

If you could eat one camp meal right now what would it be? Spaghetti or Chicken Surprise!!

What is one thing you can’t live without at camp? My fan, of course!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends throughout the year? I text and facetime my camp friends all the time and I even go visit one of them a few times a year!

Why do you love Camp Skyline? I love camp skyline because it’s a place to get away from the outside world with no problems just happiness!!!
