Takeover Tuesday with Madeline

This Takeover Tuesday Madeline, a sports superstar, took over our Instagram! Madeline was a counselor this past summer and a camper for 11 years. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Tennessee. Keep reading to find out what some of her favorite things are at Camp Skyline!

What is your favorite activity and why?

My favorite activity is SPORTS duh! I love this activity because it was never the same every day, I would have the excitement each day of getting to play a different sport, possibly one I had never played before, and that made my day so much fun.

If you had to choose one camp song to sing for the rest of your life what would it be?

The nightrider song, this is so much fun because all of camp knows it. And who wouldn’t want to stand on chairs and scream at the top of your lungs!

What is one of your favorite camp memories?

My favorite camp memory is me being hoisted to the top of the zipline by larry because I had had ACL reconstructive surgery 2 weeks prior to camp. Nothing was going to keep me from going to camp my age out year and being called tiny tim did make my days more fun.

If you could eat one camp meal right now what would it be?

I would eat banquet dinner because oh man I love chicken fingers and ice cream!

And finally what is one thing you can’t live without at camp?

I cannot live without best friends, they made every year at camp so much fun!
