Ocoee Whitewater Rafting Trip

WHO: Campers, ages 12+

WHAT: A two hour, white water, rafting adventure with with Cherokee Rafting. We will take a charter bus to the outfitter, eat a picnic lunch, have the time of our lives on the river, and will grab a bite at McDonald’s on the way back to camp!

WHERE: Down the middle portion of the Ocoee River, near Cleveland, TN. (just north of Chattanooga).

WHEN: The second Monday of each session. Trip will leave camp at 9:00am and return to camp around 6:00pm.

WHY: It’s the perfect river for ALL experience levels! You’ll get to raft down 5 miles of continuous rapids, smile until your cheeks hurt, and make unique memories with your camp friends.

COST: $245 ($270 if you want to include money for a tshirt)

About Larry Johnson

Larry is originally from Florida and graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!). He taught and coached for 12 years before working full time at camp. During the off season, he heads up the winter retreats and leadership training with sports teams from all across the country. He’s married to Sally (who tries to keep him in line) and is an avid pilot and caver in any free time he can find.
